8 Tips For Email Marketing Design

As we mentioned earlier email marketing is an effective way to reach your customers wherever they are, here are eight useful tips to keep in mind when you start designing your program:

Include your logo in the same location in every email

By doing this you cement your brand with every email you send. Having your logo and slogan in every email you send will create rapport with your customers.

Keep the preview pane in mind

Your customers may not have enough time to read all the emails they get; focus on the preview pane to increase the chances of your email being read.

Use color for emphasis

Use your brand's colors in your emails; create a subtle kind of visual branding that will immediately look familiar to your customers.

Limit the number of fonts you use

Having a lot of fonts will distract your customers; a good rule of thumb is to have no more than two fonts in the entire email.

Make your point quickly and clearly

If it takes a long time for you email to engage the reader, you may lose him. With every passing moment the reader is deciding if he/she will keep reading on.

Pick pictures that support your message

Having pictures in your email makes it more attractive, having relevant ones is a must. Choose simple pictures that clearly express your ideas to the reader.

Do not embed your text in pictures

Many email providers block images in all emails by default. Make sure to keep your text independent from your images.

Use white spaces

A white space acts as a space where the reader rests his eyes. Use them well; they are a great way to organize your email, making it attractive and easy to read.
